ChaytAI is 18+. Save your birthdate truthfully. Turn on Hide NSFW content if you do not want adult characters shown in Discovery or browsing surfaces.
Username is only for login. Use letters, numbers, ".", "_" or "-" only. No spaces.
Chat Identity
This is what characters call you in chat. Use your real name, a roleplay name, or a title.
Tell characters the kind of person you are, so they react to you more naturally.
Tell characters how you like chats to feel: cozy, dramatic, funny, direct, detailed, or anything else.
Optional typing shortcuts for templates. Example: set

Enable Browser Reminder Notifications
Lets Chayt send browser or desktop reminders after you leave, including recent chatbot nudges and low credit alerts.
AI Miss-You Notifications
Uses your recent chats so Chayt can remind you that a chatbot misses you and wants you back.
Low Credit Notifications
Warns you when your credits are running low so your chats do not suddenly stop.
Test Notification
Sends a test notification so you can confirm Android, desktop, or mobile browser notifications are allowed.
Chat Overrides
These settings let you override a bot's formatting, generation, and bubble color just for your own chats. They work even if you do not own the bot.
Auto-Format Chat Messages
Turn this off to stop Chayt from automatically styling actions and dialogue. Messages will stay in their raw text form.
Auto-Fix Mixed Message Formatting
When this is on, Chayt will try to repair mixed action-and-dialogue formatting in AI replies. Turn it off to preserve the AI's exact wording even when the formatting looks messy.
Split Quoted Dialogue From Actions
When this is on, Chayt will pull quoted speech out of action blocks and keep the remaining text wrapped as actions. Example:

Use Custom Generation Settings
When enabled, your own temperature, max tokens, top-p, and repeat penalty will override the bot's defaults in your chats.
How bold the AI can be. Lower feels steady and on-topic; higher feels more playful or surprising.
The reply length limit. Use a smaller number for quick answers, or a bigger one for longer scenes.
How many wording choices the AI can consider. Lower keeps it safer; higher gives it more room to vary.
Helps stop repeated words or loops. Raise it a little if replies keep saying the same thing.

Bring your own AI provider
Profiles can now save personal OpenAI, Gemini, Ollama, DeepSeek, OpenRouter, Claude, Groq, and custom proxy settings so each user can connect their own provider.
